As the earliest category of tea in Chinese history, green tea is renowned for its “clear liquor and green leaves” and refreshing taste. Our Classic Green Tea is meticulously selected from pre-Qingming tender buds in traditional producing regions like Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui. Using time-honored wisdom, precise heat processing (kill-green) locks in the fresh taste of spring instantly.
Being unoxidized, green tea retains a maximum of natural compounds like polyphenols and amino acids. The dry leaf takes various forms—flat and smooth, curled like a snail, or straight as a needle—with an emerald green color often adorned with pekoe. When brewed, the liquor is clear and bright, presenting a delicate yellow-green hue and releasing aromas of bean, chestnut, or fresh tender fragrance.
The taste is refreshingly vibrant and sweet with low astringency, leaving a clean, sweet aftertaste that promotes salivation, as if capturing the essence of spring in a cup.
