Chrysanthemum Pu-erh is a time-honored classic blended tea, highly regarded in Southeast Asia and southern China. We use 3-5 years aged ripe Pu-erh from Menghai, Yunnan as the base, which is warm in nature, produces a rich red liquor, and carries a unique aged aroma. This is blended with premium-grade chrysanthemums from Tongxiang, Zhejiang, known for their large, full blossoms and delicate fragrance.
Through precise ratio and unique blending techniques, the mellowness of Pu-erh and the freshness of chrysanthemum are perfectly harmonized. The Pu-erh moderates the cooling nature of chrysanthemum, while the chrysanthemum balances the intensity of Pu-erh, resulting in a well-balanced tea with broad appeal.
The brewed liquor is clear and redbright, with interwoven floral and aged aromas. The taste is smooth, mellow, and refreshingly sweet, making it particularly suitable after meals to aid digestion.
